Client and Business Goals

Newyear Golden Tea is one of the leading business groups who established their signature in various kinds of entirely different businesses all over the state.

The management of the Newyear Golden Tea want to make their front office appointment smoother and customer friendly. So they decided to make an application for assigning tokens to the customers who visited the offices and automate the queue management process using these tokens if there are a number of visitors waiting for their appointment time. Which will reduce the manual activities and human errors.

Our solution

Since the client wanted an efficient queue management system to help run the front office activities smoothly. Our Aim is to create an application that automates the customer token management.

The experts of our team analyse the requirements and create an intuitive web application to generate a token for customers and pass the same to the related staff and display those token numbers on the screen fixed on walls when their turn arrives.

This system will make the customer handling more efficient and saves much amount of time when we are comparing to the manual process and also easily able to track the details and purpose of visit thorough a single window

Key Features of the solution are:

  • The system has a receptionist user who privileged as super user and can able to create and manage tokens for the customers reached in the offices He/she can manage the display of those tokens in the screens that are placed on each cabin and visitor’s room. He can control the advertisements displayed in the screen in between calling tokens. The system will store the image of the customer along with the token.
  • Those staff who are handling customers also login to the system and view the queue allotted to him/her. They can view the data provided by the customers at the time of creating the token and add remarks against that appointment.
  • Through the system - we can generate different types of tokens like vip/vvip tokens and the queue management will provide higher priority for these tokens in queue.

1Team Setup

During the development phase we follow the Scrum method for efficient project management . We had a core project team of 2 people: 1 backend developers, and 1 UI/UX. They were working in close collaboration with the client. The experience that we have in this kind of projects helps us to release this project in a 2 week time.
